B-boy lessons
B’Girl, Firefly, will be running B’boy and B’girl lessons for all ages from 7yrs old-Adult, with classes getting progressively more difficult (and older) throughout the day, over both days at the weekend.
Bboy Teachers - Beginner workshops
Bgirl Firefly
Firefly has been teaching the art of 'bboying' since 1999, providing workshops which she carefully apdapts to the needs of all ages and abilities. Winner of the European Mighty 4 bgirl battle in 2006, she has danced her way to the top, doing corporate events, theatre, TV work, street festivals, night club gigs and regularly gets invited to judge at many bboy events. She has also made TV appearances on Channel 4, MTV Base, CITV. In 2009 she founded her own performance team 'Fireforce' who are some of the best breakers based in the North of England. Appointed as 'Creative Director' for this Freestyle Festival, she will be organizing the battles as well as teaching!
Bboy Lil' Tim (Air Force Crew)
An inspiration to many renowned B-boys, Lil' Tim is one of the UK's finest and has been a professional bboy for 17 years! He has featured in many music videos, TV adverts, fashion shows, films including Human Traffic and has also toured with many commercial pop artists including Bomfunk MC's and Freestylers. He has also battled and won many competitions from 1996 to date. Being an experienced choreographer and teacher, he has developed his own unique 'Breakacise' programme for schools, youth groups and gyms.
Bgirl Sun-Sun (Flowzaic Crew)
A former gymnast, Sun-Sun trained at Lewisham College and London Studio Centre. Having been b-girling (breakdancing) since 1999 she has run projects and choreographed for organisations such as 'Second Wave' - a youth arts programme based in Deptford, Barking and Dagenham Youth Group, E15 Acting School and Greenwich Dance Agency. She also co-directed the 2003 South Bank Centre event, 'Savoy Ballroom Meets Ministry of Sound'. Not only does she teach and battle, she has done plenty of commercial work, including performing as a rapper and dancer on the 'Take That' Nobody Else tour in 1995 and danced with recording artists such as Mel B (Spice Girls), Gabrielle and Shy FX.
Bboy RawB (Bad Taste Crew)
A bboy event organizer, teacher, performer and renowed battler, bboy RawB has been dancing since 1996. Repping with his crew 'Bad Taste', one of the top crews in the UK, he has won just too many competitions to mention and proudly repped for the UK at the world famous 'Battle of the Year' Germany, in 2008. Raw-B has also made TV apperances on BBC1, Extreme Sports, MTV, Trouble TV and more! He has been involved in many workshop initiatives through organizations like Dance City, Newcastle and Helix Arts and is also a member of Firefly's performance team 'Fireforce.
