CKY CONFIRMED FOR SUNDAY HEADLINER

CKY have finally confirmed as our headline act for Sunday night at Freestyle Festival. The punk rock band is coming over from the US to play exclusively for the festival with all their rock and roll force. Having just produced their first album of new material since 2005’s ‘An Answer Can Be Found’, ‘Carver City’ is the band’s first studio offering since its split from Island Records in 2006. “Having a studio at my house, gave me the ability to work on [Carver City] for literally several thousand hours, for two years straight,” Ginsburg says. “We added a ton of new textures. Layering has always been something we’ve been into; guitar textures alone tend to bore us, [Carver City] is sonically, our best effort to date.”
On top of blasting out their new album at Freestyle Festival, the Jackass boys (Jess Margera, the drummer of the band is brother of Jackass’s Bam Margera) will be just as riotous on stage as they are on TV.....so watch out Freestyle!
Having played less than a handful of times this year in the UK, CKY are dying to get up on a UK stage, and promise an exclusive and rare opportunity for their UK fans to come check them out.
